Welcome to Word of Life Bangladesh!

Recently the Lord let us meet 6 sweethearts who we've now placed in a home with a mom, dad, and a cook. We bring them to school and provide basic medical care. They are learning Bible stories.

We maintain two bible schools with 30 students per semester. Each semester is for 9 months and involves daily Bible instruction. Discipleship and training is the foundation for all other ministries. 

Over 18 Bible translation projects have been completed. We help organize teams to translate the Bible into heart language of people groups who have been waiting sometimes decades.

We provide job training to women who need work by teaching them how to sew and selling the products they make. Each day the women meet and we teach stories  about women in the bible.

Over 80 churches have now been planted by our pastors and leaders. Each churchplanter requires funding for daily expenses and transportation. Each is also bivocational. 

Our organization helped pass out food and blankets during Covid lockdown, helped clean up homes during severe flooding, and helped provide shelter during the Rohingya fire in 2024.

Our organization partners with funding groups to pass out Bibles among believers in the most remote parts of Bangladesh, often on foot. 

Several times a year we host all of our pastors and leaders, who have been newly devoted to the Lord to offer training and to strengthen their faith.

Our organization is dedicated to serving the pastors and church planters with microloans for things such as bikes, food, until they get back up.
